Include a Bonus – In order to make sure that a subscriber signs up for something through your affiliate link, create a bonus product that’s only available to subscribers that sign-up through your affiliate link. You can use one of your existing products or can create an educational piece of content to serve as your bonus. As you can see, there are advantages and disadvantages to both Affiliate Marketing and Dropshipping and there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to deciding what to choose. It really comes down to your personal preference and what you want to achieve. With Dropshipping, the product is key and there are a lot of logistical headaches that I outlined. Hi, I would recommend you to do Affiliate Marketing. I have tried Aliexpress as well but the big disadvantage with that program are the long shipping times, in general 20-40 days and customers want the product now. You will have lot of complaints about the delivery. Some people look down on Affiliate Marketing because they think you make only a few bucks per product. But if you are smart you only promote affiliate stuff with high payouts. I am involved in a program that pays up to $5000 per single sale. PM me if interested. Because you have to promote your products anyway, whether you advertise for a product where you make $1 from or a product you make $5000 from.

StudioPress itself is somewhat of a niche product as it is targeted to existing WordPress users who found setting up and managing a WordPress site too difficult or time-consuming. StudioPress prides itself on being easy to use, but their main claim to fame is that their hosted websites are “faster and more secure” than other WordPress hosting companies as well as using the “Genesis framework” which is supposedly more SEO friendly than other WordPress builds.
Given that I am still in reading and preparation phase, I am mainly interested to overlap my niche with real life interests so I could have motivation to produce content on regular basis. Two that I am highly interested are PC parts and Fitness. I am aware they are too general subjects with lot of sites doing the same, but my idea is to produce constant review on PC parts, Laptops, Mobile devices, Accessories all in different categories, create lists like top5 or 10 under XX budget etc. Similar approach I would use if I I decide to go with Fitness path and divide content training advice, review of fat loss methods, supplementation, nutrition etc. I am aware that this will be a long journey and that it can pass few months before sales start to kick in and that’s the risk I am ready to take. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. If you only promote one merchant’s products, you are stuck with their commissions, their landing pages, and ultimately, their conversion rates. It is important to work with many different merchants in your niche and promote a wide range of products. Most affiliates can create their own landing pages ( HTML, Javascript, CSS skills ), code their own scripts ( server-side languages like PHP and database like MySQL ), negotiate contracts ( for media buys and I/O’s ), plan entire marketing budgets, are comfortable hiring and managing VA’s and outsourced contractors, are masters at optimizing sales funnels, and routinely create additional revenue streams ( it’s all about ROI baby ).
The phrase, "Affiliates are an extended sales force for your business", which is often used to explain affiliate marketing, is not completely accurate. The primary difference between the two is that affiliate marketers provide little if any influence on a possible prospect in the conversion process once that prospect is directed to the advertiser's website. The sales team of the advertiser, however, does have the control and influence up to the point where the prospect either a) signs the contract, or b) completes the purchase.
Sometimes merchants are in the process of closing down or declaring bankruptcy. Merchants don’t need to specify this while an affiliate is hard at work trying to make their commissions. In the event that a merchant declares bankruptcy, the affiliate marketing business loses any money owed to them. The primary advantage of affiliate marketing over dropshipping is that you don’t really have anything to do with the product fulfillment process. You don’t have to connect with suppliers, you don’t need to handle transactions, you don’t need to collect money, issue refunds, or otherwise act like a store. All of that is handled by the actual store. All you do is, essentially, hand people your card, point them at the door, and say “tell ‘em I sent you.”
