Unlike an email newsletter, a direct sales email has one goal: to drive sales and revenue of your product or service for clicks to your website. How you do this may vary with the specific content or tactic of your direct sales email, but the beauty of a direct sales email is that its purpose is simple. That also means that tracking its success is simple, either it generated sales…or it didn't.
Additionally, when you work with us, we will recommend email list building options that fit your requirements after conducting necessary research. Our experience in the list building services means we know where and how to acquire the information that drives home results. You will get names and contact details of key decision makers, their roles and job descriptions.
Create a marketing strategy to attract clients. Join the Greater Houston Partnership to network with other businesses in the Houston area. Join social networking sites, such as The E-mail Marketer's Club, to meet other email marketers and those looking to hire an email marketing company. Compile a list of potential clients using local business directories such as HoustonBusiness.com or the Houston Yellow Pages. Contact potential clients by phone or send an email demonstrating your email marketing abilities.
In 2002 the European Union (EU) introduced the Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications. Article 13 of the Directive prohibits the use of personal email addresses for marketing purposes. The Directive establishes the opt-in regime, where unsolicited emails may be sent only with prior agreement of the recipient; this does not apply to business email addresses.
What It Is: Sending high-value content helps your company in two ways: first, it reinforces your brand as an authority on your given subject matter. At the same time, you’re nurturing the leads on your list and keeping their relationship with you warm. That way, when you are ready to release a promotional message, your subscribers will be all ears.
Likewise, there are also companies who sell "Email Marketing" or supposed opt-in email for much less than we do. All these companies are doing is SPAMMING people with your offer. These are the companies you see online selling millions of emails for $xxx. This is far less than what we even pay websites for co-registration data. Using these types of companies to email for you  will inevitably cause you major problems with your web hosting company and in fact can get your website shut down.

First, let’s set a clear definition of email newsletters. Email newsletters are regularly occurring emails that include primarily informational content or a roundup of content pulled into one email that users can scroll through and read pieces they choose. Email newsletters don’t push products (or at least they shouldn’t); rather these emails hone a relationship by engaging in personal and topical information relevant to the subscriber.
Want an email and SMS marketing tool that can integrate with your site? SendinBlue is an app that's designed for just that. With WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, and Magento plugins, as well as an API to connect to in-house apps, SendinBlue can work directly with your eCommerce store to send email newsletters, drip campaigns, and transactional emails from your site.

Reach Mail is great for business just starting out with email marketing. It offers a free package that enables users to create, schedule and send emails, as a well as a paid version that provides users with more customisation options. The free version is quite unique in the email marketing world as normally these types of tools are only free for a certain period. Reach Mail also includes a nice testing feature which enables users to test their email campaigns on a percentage of their subscriber list.

Make it easy to subscribe. Post a signup form on your homepage, blog, Facebook page, and wherever else your customers and fans are already active. You might want to collect names and birthdays (for a special offer or gift) or invite readers to join groups, but don't go crazy with the required fields. A too-long subscribe form might scare people off.
Remember, most visitors won't read your entire email but will simply scan it, looking for clues to quickly answer their questions. For best results, use short blocks of text and bullets to make your message easier to scan. A call to action should be visible "above the fold" - that is, within the first screen full of information that the reader will see. Make sure that any links are clearly formatted as clickable links. If you're using images for links, make sure they look clickable as well (for example, a button that contains the words "more information" or "order now").
Mailchimp is a very well-known email marketing tool that integrates with popular apps and services like Salesforce, Eventbrite, Google, Twitter, Facebook, Shopify, and SurveyMonkey. This inbound marketing tool allows you to easily sync your data from those services, import content from other sources, and learn how your campaigns are affecting your business. Along with reports to show you how well you’re connecting with your audience and how much money you’re bringing in, Mailchimp gives you tips for improvement. Mailchimp Mobile Dashboard enables you to check in from anywhere.

Social media – the undisputed king in the marketing domain… And then there’s email. Think of it as a grandparent to social media marketing. Don’t be fooled, it’s still reliable if used the right way. Today’s marketers may not be as email savvy, nor do they consider it to be a “cool” way of contacting clients, however, it has stood the test of time and proven itself to be an effective method of communication.
An important note about affiliate advertising: writing and updating the reviews in our blog involves a lot of time and effort! So to finance this, we sometimes include affiliate advertising links in our posts. This means that if you buy a product or service after clicking on a link to a product featured in one of our reviews, we may receive a commission on the sale. You can view a full list of the products we receive commission on here.
Opt-in email: Opt-in email is any commercial email sent to people who have specifically signed up to receive it. Permission, in this respect, is clear-cut. If you have a list based on people who have signed up to receive emails about travel in general but not your travel agency, it doesn't qualify as specific permission. If you have a list of people who have agreed, in some form of writing, link clicking or other evidence, that they want to receive emails from your travel agency specifically, you fall well within the bounds of opt-in.

Again, “newsletters” are annoying to all of us. Who wants to read your “Memorial Day Newsletter”? (Even your mom is only glancing at it and that’s just to be polite because she loves you). However, emails with your voice, philosophy and insights that the recipient actually appreciates and is interested in? That’s an entirely different beast. That is what we are going for here. RIP newsletters, hello email marketing.

That means that immediately post-order is a great time to send a big “thank you” for their purchase, a confirmation of what they’ll be receiving and when (along with some beautiful pictures to heighten the anticipation and reinforce their purchase), tips and tricks on how to use the product and more. It’s also a great time to present additional offers for discounts for similar products to encourage follow-on purchases.  Some brands include a “thank-you” discount coupon for a future purchase. While the dopamine is flowing freely, it is also a good time to ask your new customers to refer their friends to your brand, so be sure to include an invitation to your referral program in the footer.
"I just wanna say that you guys are the best traffic website ever!! Thanks to you I have made $425 in sales and it's only been a week! Nothing has ever worked for me before! You guys have already earned me way more than the one time fee I paid for your service. I will continue to use your website again and again and I will recommend it to all my friends!"

It starts with email newsletters, with a full-featured email editor to design email newsletters and send them to your lists. That's the core focus of the base plan, where you can start building your contact lists around your newsletters. Then as your marketing grows, you can upgrade to a Plus plan with CRM and marketing automation features to store more details about contacts and use that to focus your lists and land more sales.
As with every other email: Include a CTA. Don’t forget that dopamine:  Present them with a discount coupon and invite them to make another purchase with you, or invite them to refer their friends to you. Make it easy for them to do either, including providing links that take them straight through to a personalized shopping cart (to make the purchase, with the discount applied), or referral program (with their personalized sharing link displayed).
The full-blown version of ActiveCampaign offers an all-in-one solution for a business to house it’s CRM, email marketing, deal flow, sales automation and more. With the offer of one-on-one training and onboarding, without the 4-figure fee that InfusionSoft requires, it’s a great alternative if you want to automate the way you keep in touch with your customers both new and old.
While you can use the old batch-and-blast method to send out a mass email to your subscriber list quickly, email automation can help make your newsletter relevant by targeting interested customers. Email automation tools allow you to pre-make emails and schedule them, or deliver emails to subscribers based on their behavior, which is definitely a more desirable—and more successful—option than batch-and-blast.
As with any free plan, there are limits to the size of your audience. MailChimp’s Forever Free plan allows up to 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month, which will likely be enough if you’re a small business owner or running your own website. But if you know your business will be expanding soon (or if you already have more than 2,000 subscribers), this may not be enough to serve your needs. Even without these features, MailChimp’s free service is far and away the best email marketing service for the least, and has the capabilities to compete with some of the best paid services as well.
Mad Mimi almost doesn't look like an email newsletter app at first glance. Instead of prominent buttons for emails or automations, you'll see tabs for Promotions and Audience. Those Promotions are your emails—only here, they're focused on making emails to share your sales, events, coupons, new products, and other company events and promotions with potential customers.

There are providers who try to sell you such lists and, in some cases, they even have opt-in proof which would hold up in a court of law. However, most email services we know of won’t let you use those kinds of lists. They don’t want to risk their good sender reputation, so they prohibit the use of purchased mailing lists. Statistics clearly show that the number of complaints is higher than the number of successful clicks for such lists.

Marketing emails need to be personalized to the reader and filled with interesting graphics. Few people want to read emails that are addressed "Dear Sir/Madam" -- as opposed to their first or last name -- and even fewer people want to read an email that simply gives them a wall of text. Visuals help your recipients quickly understand what the point of the email is.

While this is mostly just a legacy feature from pre-Zapier times, the native integrations can enable connections that are not possible on Zapier. Our recommendation would be to search on Zapier for the tools that you currently use, and if they’re all on there, choose one of the email marketing tools above that provides the most triggers and actions.

“If you want to put this in your testimonials, it's ok with me. I just wanted to thank you for everything. Your help is greatly appreciated. Since joining last month, I've had more hits to my web site than I did the previous 6 months! Honestly, I was getting a little sick of the only hits to my hit counter being from my own visits to my web site. Your system, the great price, the support are the best around, and all of the tools have helped me to become (at least in my opinion) somewhat of an Internet Marketing Specialist. My hat is off to you guys and gals at Blast4Traffic. Thanks a million!”

You can use its built-in email designer to customize your email style and build templates for both your newsletters and your routine transactional emails. You can segment your lists, and run A/B tests with up to 10 versions to test anything about your marketing that you want. It's a handy way to handle all of your company's emails from one service, letting your developers send messages from your app the way that's easiest for them while also letting designers and writers update emails without having to dive into code.

One of the best ways to get these reviews is to use a service like Yotpo that allows buyers to submit their ratings from within their inboxes (as illustrated above). If you’d prefer a less automated approach, a simple text-based email that encourages customers to return to your site and leave a review after they’ve received their products may do the trick.
It doesn't matter what a business type you have: our advanced email marketing system will increase your brand awareness, build a loyal customer base and improve conversions. There are no contracts or setup fees – you pay only a flat monthly fee based on the number of active contacts you maintain with your list or the number of emails sent during a particular period.
The post is very informative and the list you have shared with is great, but the Constant Contact is good I think to start the company as the live chat features are powerful in it can solve the one query on time. But it’s chargeable that to $20 at least it should be $10, I don’t know much about its but I’ll try for that free package and check it. Thank You.
"We just had a chance to check out your private membership area, and are completely BLOWN AWAY by all the advertising services and tools you provide for your customers! You're totally over-delivering and should be charging a monthly fee for this advertising service! Anyone looking to consistently generate more targeted leads to their website or affiliate links by using safe methods of email marketing should sign-up now. We will be recommending your product to ALL of our members."

Asking a question is a subject line technique that works well because it gives the customer something to think about. Your question should be something on almost every customer's mind. And by opening your email, they're answering that question through their interest. You can even answer the question in your subject line. Here are a few examples of question-type subject lines:
What's more, you can setup multiple brands inside your Sendy account. That lets you send emails to all the list you need for multiple products or companies. You can even white label Sendy, give your clients access, and host your own email sending service for each of them. Sendy might not just save you money on sending emails; it might make you money, too.
One of the advantages of email marketing is that it can be used to connect with a varied selection of individuals and audiences. On the other hand, because it is so versatile, there really isn’t any single set of best practices that always result in effective campaigns. Therefore, the ability to test email campaigns with built-in testing tools can help you determine what is effective, and what belongs in the spam folder.
If you would like to communicate with your clients directly or just distribute your special offers by email, you've come to the right place. Pinpointe can help you start your own targeted email marketing campaign quickly.  We take special pride by providing managers and businesses owners with a powerful email marketing program as an extremely cost-effective, fast and easy way to access their targeted audience sending personalized promotional messages.

We just started using MailChimp because it seems to be the only one that offers a free account for small or new users. The problem is that there are so many steps for a potential subscriber to go through with both double opt-in and recaptcha, that we are getting at best complaints to worst, plain nasty comments posted on our Facebook page. We don’t know how many would be subscribers we lost because of this.

Every week, the folks at InVision send a roundup of their best blog content, their favorite design links from the week, and a new opportunity to win a free t-shirt. (Seriously. They give away a new design every week.) They also sometimes have fun survey questions where they crowdsource for their blog. This week's, for example, asked subscribers what they would do if the internet didn't exist.
If you’re new to this, you’re definitely going to face some personal resistance. After all, even if you have no hang-ups pestering people in their inbox, you’re still going to be putting your ideas and thoughts out into the world and that can be scary. We all hope that our content will be coherent, useful, not invasive or annoying and please god never offensive to anyone! For anyone who is not seasoned in the arena of public opinion, critique and criticism, putting yourself  “out there” in those first few articles or emails will be nerve-racking.
First of all, BuzzFeed has awesome subject lines and preview text. They are always short and punchy -- which fits in perfectly with the rest of BuzzFeed's content. I especially love how the preview text will accompany the subject line. For example, if the subject line is a question, the preview text is the answer. Or if the subject line is a command (like the one below), the preview text seems like the next logical thought right after it:
"Thank you Blast4Traffic, you have been a blessing for my online business! I am just amazed at all the tools you have provided me for such a minimal cost. Before I found you, I had spent hundreds of dollars and never received the exposure you have given me in such a short period of time. I am an active member of my local Chamber of Commerce and have recommended your service to everyone and anyone who would listen, and I will continue doing so! Thanks again!".
When we do e-mail marketing, we follow all CAN-SPAM e-mail practices. This means that with every e-mail we send, we give recipients an easy way to be removed from the mailing list. It also means we follow certain guidelines when acquiring e-mail addresses and even keep the source and date of addition for every e-mail we have. Finally, with e-mail marketing we use "white listed" servers, meaning servers that have been tagged as acceptable by the main internet providers. This results in a higher percentage of our mail getting to the inbox, rather than the junk mail box.

No graphics are allowed on the “brown paper wrapper.” This provision makes sure that recipients cannot view sexually explicit content without an affirmative act on their part – for example, scrolling down or clicking on a link. However, this requirement does not apply if the person receiving the message has already given affirmative consent to receive the sender’s sexually oriented messages.
AWeber is another popular email marketing tool with a number of great features. Using a drag and drop editor, users can easily create automated emails and make use of their high-quality autoresponder capabilities. Users can also create subscription forms and place them on the website, blog or Facebook page. Within this tool, you can pull up charts showing how many contacts opened emails or clicked on links within your message.
The content you create and share should engage people in ways that make them clients in the future. Start by asking, “Whose attention am I trying to keep and what would they be interested in seeing from me?” If it’s on brand for you, it’s also valuable to them. Do this, and people will love you for sharing your expertise with them and will ask for more (or, at least, stay subscribed long enough to get to know you and your business better until the the time is right for them to buy).
No matter what the focus of your newsletter is, you can pull down content from blog posts or search the web to pull content from a variety of sources – Flashissue automatically summarizes this content for you. After populating the editor with a certain number of story summaries, you can change the headline and article descriptions in order to better personalize it for your readers. This allows a more tailored emailer, rather than just generic news.
Email marketing services let you track statistics and monitor the results of your campaigns through advanced email analytics like opens, clicks, bounces, mobile view statistics, email comparisons, and more. Based on the collected information you can make small changes (e.g. design, copy, structure, or workflow) and optimize your email marketing program.
Targeting doesn’t just apply to location or age. One of its key benefits is your ability to target those at different stages of the buying cycle with the content that is most relevant to them. At its core, the buying cycle has three phases – interest, research and purchase. Say you sent an email to someone at the ‘interest’ stage that invited them to visit your website for a quote. This could look like a hard sales tactic and really put them off your brand.
Another option, which is really more theoretical than anything else, is running your own email server. A quick cost/benefit analysis often makes this an unrealistic option for most small businesses. Sending out emails isn’t that much of a problem. However, if your email server doesn’t have a good sender reputation, your emails won’t be accepted by major email services such as Gmail, Yahoo, AOL etc.
Full-featured email apps don't have to be complicated and confusing to use. VerticalResponse proves that with its clean, simple interface that makes it simple to make beautiful emails and send them to your contacts. You can use its pre-made templates, add your own photos complete with filters, and then turn the templates into both emails and matching signup forms.
A great digital marketing plan relies on a solid strategy made up of various communications channels. However, email continues to be the glue that holds these various channels together. In fact, a well-designed newsletter that offers targeted messages to customers based on their preferences and behavior can be a powerful driver of sales and ultimately, brand loyalty.
Many email newsletter software vendors offer transactional email support, which gives companies the ability to include promotional messages within the body of transactional emails. There are also software vendors that offer specialized transactional email marketing services, which include providing targeted and personalized transactional email messages and running specific marketing campaigns (such as customer referral programs).[citation needed]

Rewarding customers for past purchases, sharing sale information, or encouraging customers to tell their friends about your brand are a few of the things you can do with a segmented list. Or you can categorize customers based on their email behavior (who opened/didn’t open an email). Then, you can target each list differently, either educating them further on your business, or incentivizing them to buy with a unique offer.
When you send out spam, you can flip that number and you'll see less than 20% actually make it in, if that. So we recommend getting permission. Create a Signup Form and put it on your site. Sign up customers for your emails when they make a purchase. Whatever you do, make sure you have permission so that your email marketing campaigns aren't sent in vain.

The requirements of the Act are fairly straightforward, yet easily overlooked. For example, did you know that if you fail to include your postal address on a commercial email, then the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) could fine you? In fact, each separate email that violates the CAN-SPAM Act is subject to penalties of up to $16,000. There are no exceptions for business-to-business email. All email – even messages to former customers announcing a new product line – must comply with the law.
So whatever personal hang-ups you have about being on someone’s list, or potential customers being on yours, it’s time to get over them. Because, in the end, if you’re giving someone what they want, those people will read every single word you send their way and still want more. And that is one of the best ways to build long-term relationships with future clients, exponentially growing your business over time.
CakeMail is an email marketing tool intended for small businesses that makes sending out emails very easy. All users to have to do is title their new campaign, set up list of recipients, give their email a design and select a time to send it out. There is also an advanced editing section which is great for users who are more experienced with HTML. CakeMail can be integrated with Google Analytics so users have access to detailed reports on insights such as open rates, unsubscribe rates, click and bounce.

Similar to MailerLite, you have restricted features available on the free account (e.g. advanced segmentation and delivery by time-zone). But you still have a more generous subscriber amount, and it’s just as user-friendly. And most importantly, you can't use their email or chat support. There's also a small ad banner in each email you send. (Review)

Carl: This is what newsletters look like and when they are used. On the flip-side, there are drip campaigns. Drip campaigns are basically a series of emails that you will receive over x period of time. As an example, here’s an email from our friends at MailChimp. You see here it says, “Number 1. Getting Started with MailChimp.” This email is all about using a template or how to create your own, inside their tools. So this drip goes out to any new MailChimp subscriber. So this is the first part of it, then a few days later, you’ll go ahead and receive the second part, which is about collecting subscribers and building your list.

This data is invaluable when it comes to upsells and cross-sells. For example, if a subscriber purchases apparel for a certain team or school, Finish Line can recommend shoes or hats for that same team or school. To keep as many users engaged as possible, Finish Line also used their targeting capabilities across multiple platforms, including social media and display ads.
Potential Customers: Customers who haven’t bought your product or service (yet) but may buy in the future, fall into this category. These are prospects who you can email educative content that helps them understand your brand, product, or service better. You can even email them content that helps them see the brighter side of your market or current trends better.
