Another newsletter provider traditionally known for sending transactional emails, MailJet has evolved into a more complete email service, although their features are still relatively basic (statistics, for instance, are still in beta). Their free plan is generous in terms of capacity (unlimited contacts and up to 6,000 emails a month, with a 200-email daily limit). It’s a little less generous in terms of access, however – premium features like automations, segmentation and A/B testing are only available to try out for free for 30 days.

Traditionally a software-based email service that required local installation, Mailify now also offers a web-based service that’s very app-y in look and feel. Still, it’s a useful tool for those who would prefer to keep their data in-house. Their free plan gives you access to all areas, including automations, SMS, landing pages, and some modern-looking email templates, although you’ll only be able to trial it for 30 days. The bonus is that you can send up to 1,000 emails and 10 SMS in this time, so you’ll really be able to get a feel for whether it’s worth paying to continue using Mailify.
Which is why you should just turn those notifications off. Don’t even pay attention to the numbers early on because every unsubscribe is going to feel personal. I used to obsessively refresh unsubscribe data and experienced each one as a breakup, like I was being dumped! But we’re not for the people who don’t need and like what we have to offer, we’re for the ones who love it and can’t get enough! Now I don't even look at the unsubscribe list. (Cue Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable”)
Then, you can draft emails in advance to make sure they look great, and then send them when you're ready. That's easy with a draft section on Sendicate's dashboard that shows your emails complete with their header photo and subject. You can segment your audience with simple search filters, and schedule emails to be sent at the time and date of your choice. And with simple, typography focused templates, you can be sure your emails will always look great.

Previously email was only available to students or employees. The introduction of personal email addresses (that were free and available to all) transformed direct marketing.
Thanks Kelly, Mailchimp have definitely come a long way with their UI over the years, it’s just their service that hasn’t caught up ;) I haven’t had the chance to play around with Pure360 as much as I’d like, but I’ve heard the same things echoed by several friends who use their service. Looking at their client list, I think they’re more aimed at large companies though.
