I’ve always been a mailchimp user myself, and I have to say I really like their UI but I’m always open to new options. In the example above, Fruit of the Loom encourages readers to follow the brand on social platforms like Facebook and Twitter. However, this isn’t the only way to integrate email and social. Send out messages whenever you have new content you’ve published exclusively to your social feeds, launch a social contest, or have a particular social post gaining traction within your community.
Think about the information that pertains to your customers’ interests, desires, and needs. That could be colorful, opinionated commentary on your industry, original content, sharing resources like software and books or simply things you think are cool. Whatever it is, though, make sure it’s tailored to your brand and the unique offerings and benefits of working with you, as well as the issues you deal with, and the problems you solve in your industry.
