Internet audience is fast moving, and they tend to go from one to another in a fraction of a second. So every aspect of your user interface counts when you are trying to get their attention. Having a beautifully designed web page will not always lead to the fact that you’ll be having lots of visitors to your website who would come back again and again.

Overall, MailChimp remains a solid choice of email marketing platform for small business owners with a small and slow-growing list, or who are just getting started with email marketing and want to test the benefits before opting for a paid solution. But if you’re serious about growing your email list and aim to push quickly past that 2,000 subscriber mark, you’re better off starting from the outset on a paid platform with more comprehensive capabilities.

I tried to make some pages on Wix but it generates a really mess JS code, w/o normal HTML and very strange page urls like domain.com/#!toasp/c1f7gfk. What do you thinks about it? Also is the mobile-first approach so important for good SE ranking as mentioned all over the web?

I’m currently looking for an email marketing service for a mailing list of about 80,000 subscribers. 1) I would set up a MailChimp account, for free. It’s the industry leader, it’s the best performer (in my experience) and it’s the most pleasant to use from a UX/UI standpoint (which matters a lot to me). It’s also entirely free from the get-go, up until a couple thousand subscribers. It’s a “no-duh” piece of software. This let you easily segment your lists depending on sign-up locations, or sign up types. If you have email resources to push subscribers – like Bidsketch does with their proposal templates – you can easily segment the users that sign up there, apart from the users that sign up straight from your blog.
Work as a team from the same Mailjet account. Separate your activities using sub-accounts, invite an unlimited number of users, and control what they can do by defining their roles and advanced permissions. Each team member will be able to work independently, within a well-defined scope of abilities. Maximize your efficiency, maintain full control.
One former client of mine started using Hubspot for about $50/month, but after adding a few extra features and growing his list he was soon paying $2,000/month which had to be paid annually. 1. LeadPages – Throughout the blog post I connect with a number of major pain points men are experiencing in pursuit of their goal to get ripped. Each time I hit a major pain point I include a call to action box (they’re kinda like adverts) – the headline of each box is a question, e.g. “Arms Not Getting Bigger?”, and under the question is a simple call to action – “Download this proven plan to get arms like Arnie”.

Social media is built for engagement and sharing, so promoting your holiday sale on social media is a fantastic way to take advantage of that buying frenzy. Just make sure that you create posts and ads that people will want to share (of course, it never hurts to offer a screamin’ deal).
There are many great options available, but some key considerations to help businesses make the right choice are budget, ease of CMS integration and available resources to manage the platform, as the more complex platforms require a dedicated internal or agency resource in order to get the most value.
