A great way to promote your lead magnet is through social media. You can post links to the sign-up page on social media with engaging lead-ins that communicate the value of your content offering. You might also consider including social media share buttons on the landing page to encourage visitors to share the offer with those who may also find it valuable.
Ok this one I have to give credit to my man, Noah Kagan, for coming up with it. It’s one of those intuitive ideas that you might have kind of known in the back of your head, but as soon as you hear it you’re like, “Wow, that makes perfect sense.” Here’s the jist of the “Scale the Peaks” strategy (and a reader warning, it’s heavy stuff so try to stay focused for the next few lines):

Treat your list well. Remember that the people you're using email to communicate with have trusted you with their email and name; they deserve your respect. Just as you deserve as a chance to convert them from customers to fans and even evangelists for your brand, people who want to talk about and share your message and get involved in any way they can.
You’re probably already investing time and resources into marketing to potential customers. But are you also thinking carefully about how you build relationships with vendors and partnering businesses? Email gives you the ability to maintain communication with all of your different audiences so that you can build the relationships you need to be successful.
CPA (Cost Per Action or Cost Per Acquisition) or PPP (Pay Per Performance) advertising means the advertiser pays for the number of users who perform a desired activity, such as completing a purchase or filling out a registration form. Performance-based compensation can also incorporate revenue sharing, where publishers earn a percentage of the advertiser's profits made as a result of the ad. Performance-based compensation shifts the risk of failed advertising onto publishers.[62]:4, 16

Include social sharing buttons and an "Email to a Friend" button in your marketing emails. That way, you'll gain access to their friends, colleagues, and networks and expand your contact list. At the bottom of your emails, include a "Subscribe" CTA as a simple text-based link so that the people receiving the forwarded emails can easily opt-in, too.
And finally if you want to build optin forms that you can integrate with your website and which also integrates with GoToWebinar then I use and recommend LeadPages – and as a bonus they have their feature of LeadBoxes which can be used to enable people to opt in for your lead magnet e.g. a special report from within an article or blog post or on the side bar of your site.
The concept of native advertising has become increasingly hot recently. If you’re not familiar with the term “native advertising” it means content that is put in with the regular “stream” of organic content on social networks (or other non-digital mediums) and labeled as “sponsored.” For example, here’s a native ad from my newsfeed on Facebook. We’ve all seen ads like this by now. But one smart way to drive more clicks and build your email list is to send the traffic from ads like this to specific content posts on your website that have already been identified as “high performers” in terms of visitor to email conversions, social shares, and/or commenting. In addition, Twitter recently came out with its “Lead Generation cards” feature (which is free). It allows you to easily collect email optins by offering some sort of content incentive. Here’s one I found from Ryan Deiss, co-founder of DigitalMarketer.com.   Note: If you want to find out more about how to use Twitter lead generation cards, I cover it (along with how to steal your competitors followers) in this free video here. As it turns out, I found Ryan’s ad before he was using Twitter lead gen. cards. I actually converted to an email list subscriber simply as a result of reading an insightful article post on his blog. Ironically, the article I was reading was all about how he and his business had achieved 259% ROI with native ads and non-squeeze page content (blog posts). I get the sense that in order to convert with paid traffic being sent to blog post content, you really have to figure out what’s most likely to convert in advance and make sure those pages are optimized for capturing email optins. Otherwise you’ll be going through a process of trial and error which will require more investment to get right. To do this, you need to have a web analytics tool (like Google Analytics) installed on your site. If you do, and you’ve enabled our Google Analytics integration, then you’ll be able to see details of any visits to your website from your email campaigns, including how long they spent on your site, what pages they visited, what campaigns they’re coming from and more.
You can always use data gleaned from previous emails to make improvements on future emails. A/B split testing is the best way to determine which types of content resonate the best with your audience. Afterall, the overarching goal of your emails should be to get the right message to the right person at the right time. It can be tricky to get all those things to line up perfectly, especially on the first try. That’s why A/B split testing is so important!

Now that we’ve covered our laundry list of various platforms—do you know what features you should be looking for in an email marketing platform? If you don’t actually understand what email marketing can do, you might find yourself choosing your software based solely on branding, price, or pretty templates. And that’s no way to make a major business decision!
I don’t know, maybe I am not as experienced but my priority is – everything must be simple to use but come off as professional as possible. As well as automation, for now my resources are limited and I want to optimize as much as I can. So I dabbed with main email marketing services and the one that managed to really “Stick” with me was “Omnisend”. Great automation workflows – don’t have to worry about anything, welcome, birthday, cart recovery emails. As well as amazing newsletter builder. Just all in all a flexible tool for not as flexible audience.
That's quite powerful, wouldn't you agree? Rip Curl, an Australian surfing sportswear retailer, combines urgency and our psychological need to be part of something to create an email headline that jumps off the page. This positioning is designed to lead people to believe that there's a "revolution" taking place and it's their turn to get in on the action. At the end of the day, people want to be part of something that's bigger than themselves, and this email aims to motivate them to do so by purchasing this sleek watch.
I think this email also makes quite a brilliant use of responsive design. The colors are bright, and it's not too hard to scroll and click -- notice the CTAs are large enough for me to hit with my thumbs. Also, the mobile email actually has features that make sense for recipients who are on their mobile device. Check out the CTA at the bottom of the email, for example: The "Open Stitcher Radio" button prompts the app to open on your phone.
2. People don’t realize, but you don’t need any fancy plugins like OptinMonster, OptinSkin, or OptinWhatever to add subscription forms to your blog. Most people are using those to gain affiliate revenue. You can use a plain HTML form, spruce it up with some CSS and drop it into Single.php in your WordPress theme to have it appear after your post. It seems to work just as well as OptinWhatever. Go ahead and play with this, A/B testing it with in Optimizely or Google Content Experiments. You can also use Crazy Egg or SumoMe Heat Maps to more easily optimize the placement of these forms.
Email deliverability is an important part of your small business email marketing efforts. If users are not opening your emails, moving them directly to their trash or junk folders, or reporting your marketing emails as spam, this can take a toll on your deliverability rates. Your email deliverability impacts your ability to show up in user’s inboxes, so you want to marked as spam or penalized.
Probably one of the most advanced ways to build your email today is to create an app or WordPress plugin of some kind. In order to access it, users need to enter in an email address. This the ultimate “content upgrade” because instead of just being content it’s a tool that helps your target audience get closer to a key goal of their’s. How to do it:
So many brands and companies build their audiences on Facebook and Google+, which is fine, but we don’t own those names – Facebook and Google do. If we are thinking like real media companies, the asset is in the audience. Getting an email address is the first critical step to figuring out who my reader is and, hopefully in the future, my customer of some sort. If our goal is to drive sales or keep customers happy in some way, we first need to get them as part of our audience. If I have one regret as a business owner, it’s not focusing on building our email list earlier in the process.

But since you can’t just judge a message’s quality by your own perceptions (as the members of your list will have diverse interests and viewpoints), you can also take a look at the analytics information provided by your email marketing account provider to see which messages have been opened and which emails have been accessed most frequently.  This should give you some insight into the message topics your audience finds most compelling.

Newsletters can be sent to the email list you've built from the people who provided the necessary information on your website, for instance, providing these potential customers with news updates about your company, upcoming events and/or special offers – and, of course, reminding them that your business exists and that maybe it's time for another visit.

Emails triggered by milestones, like anniversaries and birthdays, are fun to get -- who doesn't like to celebrate a special occasion? The beauty of anniversary emails, in particular, is that they don't require subscribers to input any extra data, and they can work for a variety of senders. Plus, the timeframe can be modified based on the business model.
I don’t have any quantitative data to back this up but many list building experts believe that on average each subscriber on your list is worth $1 per month in income potential. This may or may not be true, and I’m sure the value swings wildly from niche to niche, but there’s no denying the fact that a subscriber who likes and trusts you is more likely to buy from you. That’s just common sense.

2) Leadshare: I am pretty active at Slideshare and Leadshare helps me generate additional leads from my presentations on any topic. I can then import them into the corresponding Mailchimp list quite easily (You need to explain what they are subscribing to right within the Leadshare form)! Also, Leadshare is free for everyone (since Slideshare discontinued its free offering).
Why does email list segmentation matter? We know that beyond relevancy, list segmentation is important from a revenue perspective. Data from the DMA indicates that segmented and targeted emails generate 58% of all email revenue. On top of this, our research found that marketers who used segmented campaigns noted as much as a 76% increase in revenue–and more than 76% of marketers say basic segmentation is part of their email marketing strategy.
Falling behind technology won’t do your business any good. How many times have you walked into a restaurant, mall, or hospital and seen people on their tablets or mobile phones checking out the latest information on the World Wide Web? This strategy is pretty popular among more seasoned marketers like Ryan Deis (founder of DigitalMarketer.com) and others who are huge proponents of spending money on ads in order to acquire traffic (rather than doing content marketing or SEO, I mean who do that crazy stuff right? 😉 ) After they convert that traffic on a free offer, the newly opted-in subscribers are sent to a page that says “Thank You” with an offer to buy something (usually something inexpensive, less than $50 so it can be considered an “impulse buy.”). One feature I particularly like is that Capsule lets you filter contacts by tags and dates – and then export them into a new Mailchimp campaign e.g. we regularly setup a campaign to email an offer to people that have been on an SEO introduction course within the last 3 months but have not yet been on the SEO intermediate course. This works really well!
The most important element for launching an email marketing campaign is giving subscribers what they want and being consistent on your delivery with this value. Subscribers expect to see emails on a regular schedule, whether that’s daily, weekly, monthly, or even quarterly. If you fall short of their expectations, it will reflect poorly on your brand. Remember that you can always start out by sending emails less often and then ramp up efforts and send more frequently later.
