Here’s a great example I can give you for step 1. I was curious to figure out which traffic source was sending us the highest converting traffic. And when I say “converting” I mean, obviously, converting from a visitor to an email subscriber. My theory was that the answer would be organic traffic from Google… But I was 100% wrong. No literally, I was 100% wrong because traffic coming into our site from LinkedIn converted 100% better (or twice as well) as Google. So in this example, to “scale that peak” of our highest converting traffic source, I need to figure out a way for use to grow our inbound traffic coming from LinkedIn. Here’s another example, not related to email but still relevant… I found our that our audience really likes articles that include multiple forms of media (video, images, and text). So I did more of those and as a result we grew our traffic as a result of more visitors sharing our articles. Simple, right? Of course, it goes without saying that I put significant effort into making sure the articles were good. So to review, find out which tactics or channels convert best and then double down on each one to grow your email list. Quick note on this before I give examples… While on a recent trip overseas it was explained to me by a fellow entrepreneur local to the area that no one “trusted” it when companies put the logos etc. of third parties on their website. I don’t know, maybe I am not as experienced but my priority is – everything must be simple to use but come off as professional as possible. As well as automation, for now my resources are limited and I want to optimize as much as I can. So I dabbed with main email marketing services and the one that managed to really “Stick” with me was “Omnisend”. Great automation workflows – don’t have to worry about anything, welcome, birthday, cart recovery emails. As well as amazing newsletter builder. Just all in all a flexible tool for not as flexible audience.
Personally I avoid pop-up boxes since they upset so many people and they’re also so 1990. I believe you never want to start your relationship with your subscribers by pissing them off. But if you disagree you’re welcome to test pop-ups on your site if you like to. Speaking of testing, I highly recommend you test several different opt-in forms on your site and keep track of which one converts at the highest rate. The AWeber dashboard will help you do just that, and there are tutorials on setting up split-testing opt-in forms there too.

For instance, we love that you can send transactional emails (invoices, password resets) straight from the tool. Automations are also pretty advanced, with options to build campaigns based on email clicks, opens, and web visits.

After adorning your virtual home with furniture and decorations you can then look at it through various 3D angles to see what it will look like in real life. The best type of deck design program is Design Workshop Lite. This program is easily downloadable online and can help you to design the layout of your home. It does not offer the advanced features of virtually touring your created home, however, it is an excellent tool for creating floor plans. Any type of autoCAD drafting software will make your design process easier, so pick the program that fits your needs.

Use a reactivation campaign to gauge whether non-responsive subscribers are still reading (just not clicking through or tracking open rates), or if they’ve truly decided to opt out. Getting started shouldn't be daunting. Generally, you'll know right away whether you like a user interface (UI) or not, and most of the contenders we reviewed offer free trials so you can poke around before dropping any cash.
