I started a blog which I plan to monetize only through affiliate marketing and my own products, no ads. I’ve been working on building an audience for my blog, for about 1 year and a half, many people think is maybe too much time, but I just want to make sure that I build enough trust with my readers before I start to try to make them buy something.

I recently did a review of a popular ebook that is a month long discipline program. I went about it by doing the actual program and documenting everything. Hi, Jamie! Very good list. I needed something like this for 2018 so that I know what to target in the future blogs I create. As for now, I’m comfortable using SiteGround affiliate network and it’s pretty good actually. Their hosting service is pretty much the best considered its price. I’ve tried others but SiteGround stands out. I’ll also try new affiliate networks, something from the list you have just provided. I think Amazon is too saturated at the moment, and I need a better network. 2018 will be interesting indeed.
4. Ability to customize your links. When you join a partner program, you receive your custom affiliate link. But what happens if you want to create deep links, in order to direct the referral to a specific landing page? Moosend has taken care of that for you; when you sign up for Moosend’s email marketing affiliate program, you get your unique promotional link, which then can be customized by adding “?url=” at the end, plus the URL you want to redirect your leads to. Again, it’s perfectly fine if you don’t do this; Moosend’s default affiliate link will still take the referred user to the homepage.
What if you used an autoresponder instead? That way you could create two, three, even ten email messages all at once. One blog post per email works well. Then schedule each message in the autoresponder to go out every seven days. Viola. You now have what looks like a weekly newsletter, but is actually an autoresponder. And you now have a lot more free time.
Paid advertising — this method requires an effective combination of ad copy, graphics, and a highly-clickable link. Unlike more traditional affiliate marketing strategies, paid advertising (through pay-per-click ads) earn you money regardless of whether a reader buys the product or not. Services like Google's AdSense make this quick and easy for you, and can even supply you with an advertising code.
