Da man für das Setzen von Affiliate-Links und den Einbau von Affiliate-Bannern keine direkte Gegenleistung erhält, könnte man an dieser Stelle folgern, dass keine Kennzeichnung notwendig ist. Aber natürlich gibt es eine nachgelagerte Vergütung, die ohne das Setzen der Links und Banner nicht zustande kommen würde. Zudem würde man solche Affiliatelinks nicht setzen, wenn man nicht auch einen finanziellen Profit davon erwarten würde.

I’m also going to adjust the strategy by stopping the prizes. I will also post more personalizd images on my profile such as of my family and leverage female and lifestyle accounts to promote me. For example, I may do a video Skype session with a female model, create a screenshot of it, and have her post it on her Instagram profile, with a mention of me giving her business or marketing advice.

With the boom in subscription boxes, unboxing videos have become quite popular. If your audience spends a lot of time on YouTube, then partner with an influencer who can showcase your product. The benefit of influencer marketing is how personal it is. Think about how powerful your campaign will be when followers feel as though they’re experiencing the unboxing along with the influencer. They’ll likely be receptive to clicking the link the influencer shares in order to learn more about you and your products.

Eine deutsche YouTuberin mit dem Instagram-Kanal bibisbeautypalace veröffentlicht regelmäßig Bilder von sich auf der Plattform. Im Beispiel promotet sie ihr neues YouTube-Video und verweist auf einen Link in ihrer Instagram-Biografie (rechtes Bild).
If you’re not getting the types of collaborations you’re hoping for through e-mails alone, you can be proactive and reach out to brands yourselves. Do a little google sleuthing to find their PR / media contact. Sometimes it’s as easy as a media enquiries e-mail address on the brand’s contact page, but more often than not brands make you work for it. I usually google “pr / media / press [at ] company [dot ] com” to see if the e-mail address shows up and will sometimes get lucky this way. Sometimes I’ll comment on a brand’s latest Instagram post with a note saying I sent them a DM (since brand accounts are usually handled by their social media manager, who either also handles collaborations or works closely with the PR department that does). Sometimes I get a media contact through a blogger friend. There are lots of ways to find the right e-mail address and, if all else fails, you can always try contacting the general help desk to see if they’re able to give you the right contact.

It also calls for you to start up your own unique hashtag which you can then promote to all your customers: it’s a seriously slick way to make yourself stand out from the crowd. For example, White Castle asks their customers to use #MyCrave to their photos. Now when they see them using that hashtag, they can repost (or regram) their photos to their Instagram account. On Instagram, hashtags are your best friend. They’ll put your post in front of thousands more people. That will earn you more followers, and, hopefully, more sales. Make sure you add relevant hashtags to all posts promoting the product or service. Going back to our health food blogger example, she might add hashtags like #healthyliving and #cleaneating to her affiliate posts.
As for Instagram, having a business account makes it even easier for brands to contact you but I would personally shy away from switching since there’s a lot of whisper in the blogging world that Instagram will soon make business accounts pay to get their content seen by anyone.
